Questions

Questions colorists ask before they enroll

Is it right for beginners?

Yes. The course starts with the tools and the basic strokes and builds up to blending, shading and backgrounds. Experienced colorists will find plenty of new techniques in the advanced modules on skin, hair, markers and gel pens.

What materials do I need?

A set of colored pencils is all you need to start. Later lessons cover markers, watercolors, watercolor pencils and gel pens. Rachel shares the tools and brands she likes best, and every project lists the pencil colors and numbers she uses.

Can I use my own coloring books?

Yes. The techniques work on any coloring page. Many projects use pages from Botanical Wonderland and Desert Wonderland, some lessons follow Color Workshop, four lessons walk through pages in Color with Me, and the course includes coloring pages you can print at home.

Can I color along with my kids?

Yes. The lessons are made for adults. Once you learn a technique, you can show it to your children and color the same page together at the table.

Where do I watch the lessons?

On coloringcourse.com. After you enroll, log in from any computer, tablet or phone and pick up where you left off. Every lesson is yours for life.
